Compliance Skills Needed in Your HR Team

Compliance Skills Needed in Your HR Team

75% of organizations consider ethics related to their company as important.

14% of organizations feel they are ready and equipped to address the issue of ethics within their company.

This gap is obviously too large.

But how can companies close the gap?

Companies need to hire HR professionals who are skilled with handling issues, or have the ability to learn that skill with the proper training.

I believe that every HR Manager should understand compliance, ethics, and have knowledge of state and Federal laws.

And I mean EVERY HR Manager – even those who specialize in benefits, training, change management, etc.  Why?  Because data privacy, confidentiality, promotions, vendor management, and other responsibilities where an ethics issue may arise can occur in the functions they support.

So hire your HR talent for skills and gaps that you may have now, as well as what your company will need in the coming years.
